Egor N., also known as oDedaLo at DeviantArt, is a young photographer from Ukraine. His portfolio has photos from several genres, from portraits and fashion to landscapes. But his project that has most drawn attention is the series "Coffee Time".

In this series, Egor N. uses high-speed photography to capture moments in time when coffee and/with milk is spilled, tossed up or thrown in another way, resulting in beautiful images where the drinks seem to defy gravity.

This & That - the funny photography by Emily Blincoe

I already posted some work of photographer Emily Blincoe previously, when I featured her photos of candies and plants organized by colors. Now I bring another artist's project: This & That. In this series (which you can follow on thisampersandthat.tumblr.com), Blincoe plays with couples of objects we usually associate, like wine and cheese, beans and rice, suit and tie, burger and fries, etc. The result is a funny series of photos that plays with colors and shapes.

The photography of candies and plants organized by color by Emily Blincoe

Emily Blincoe is an american photographer who loves to work with colors and natural light in her photography series. Here I selected two series from the artist. These series were created by organizing groups of elements by color in well organized design, just as if they were set up by someone with OCD (Obsessive–compulsive disorder), what brings me fond memories of TV show Monk.

In Sugar series, Blincoe gathered several sweets and candies, shooting them in colored background. It's really amazing the variety of candies, lollipops, chocolates and other sugar-based junk food with so many colors and colored packages. In Garden series, the artist applied the same method, but with flowers, petals and leaves from a wide range of plants.

The dark and surreal food paintings with a feeling of old and vintage ads by Nouar

The artist known as Nouar lives and works in USA, where she makes surreal paintings with a feeling of old and vintage advertisement. Despite the strong and saturated colors, Nouar's paintings have a dark side, showing us a surreal world where the tradicional foods with legs and faces feed themselves with themselves, where chickens offer you her fried eggs, where pigs give you sausages and bacon, and where candy have erotic freudian issues.
