With a portfolio full of beautiful projects based on tipography (including some fonts he created), Josip Kelava produced two series of illustrations that show heroes and villains from games, movies and comics, around their names with different fonts. A very creative and beautiful mix of illustration and typography. According to the artist, with his own words:
When I was younger I always imagined myself someone that had a super power. How cool it would be to fly, to move things with your mind, to use magic or even have a robot suit to protect you. That's why I loved reading comics, watching movies and playing video games. It took me to fantasy worlds where heroes and villains existed. This little project is a showcase of all my favourite characters, both friendly and foe, as typographic posters representing a little of what they are about. (...) Sometimes I feel like we all have a light and a dark side in us, which is why I love so many different characters from videogames, comics, cartoons and movies; both good and bad.
