Ignacio Bazán Lazcano, also known as neisbeis, at DeviantArt, is an artist from Argentina. He works as illustrator and conceptual artist for more than ten years for entertainment industry, especially games, being one of pioneers of game industry in his country. Today his work can be seen in whole world through the illustrations he makes for card games like Leyend of the Cryptids, Galaxy Saga, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Call of Cthulhu. Lazcano's works focus both in fantasy and science fiction, but in this post, let's just focus in the first.

According to the dictionary, the word fantastic can be: 1. based on fantasy: not real; 2. so extreme as to challenge belief; 3. marked by extravagant fantasy. Fantastic seems to be a good word to describe Ignacio Bazán Lazcano's work: his images are full of worlds of fantasy and adventure, dangers and treasures, gods and demons, monsters and dragons, epic battles with mages and warriors.

The amazing illustrations with fan-arts by Eddy-Shinjuku

Eddy-Shinjuku is a beginning artist from Malasia. Self-taught, his portfolio is composed mostly by fan-arts of manga/anime and especially, games, like Mass Effect 3, Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite. According to the artist, with his own words:

I'm inspired by JohnWoo's action cinematography where chaos is captured in a composed and poetic demeanor. Dynamism, flow, movement, light-work and angles has been my pursuit in my craftsmanship. I'm also inspired by Christopher Nolan's way of realism that grasp the deep human core - I try to assimilate this treatment in some of my fanarts.

I try to experiment with Western and Japanese interpretation of stylistic idealism in a way they complement each other. This mainly applies to the female anatomy in my works where they are 'idealized' in semi-realism painting and does not fully conform to real life anatomy.
