The bizarre and colored sculptures by Takahiro Komuro

Takahiro Komuro is a japanese artist who creates colores and bizarre sculptures. His figures are at the same time monstrous, but with a little sweet touch. Using basic and bright colors, Komuro's monsters sculptures seem like childish versions of nightmare creatures, something that resembles to me the little Cthulhu animation.

According to Komuro himself, the theme of his sculptures "is about myths of today or future, which one can find in the relationship between problems of modern society -such as energy, nation, food, economy, natural disaster, and human rights- and fluid culture of today."
