At first sight, you can easily make some mistakes about Noa Ikeda. First, her name suggests she is japanese. Actually, she is american. And being a Cornell University senior who is majoring in Information Science, you wouldn't expect she would be a gifted artist. But she is.

In her own words: "While my major may not be in an art related field, I do feel it has allowed me to see design through a different eye learning Human Computer Interaction and Design. I have been using Photoshop since I was 13 and thus it has become a very natural program for me to use and have spent 2 years practicing oil painting as well."

Noa Ikeda's illustrations are full of mystique and feminine energy. Portraying mostly women, Ikeda show them beautiful and sensual, powerful and energic, in worlds of fantasy full of adventures.
