The illustrations of dark fantasy worlds by Kuang Hong

Kuang Hong is a talented chinese artist who makes fantastic illustrations of dark and grim worlds. Worlds where giant monsters roam desert places, where demons search for new corrupted souls, where magic is something usual, where lust shines exuberant and where each step is a step towards oblivion.

The beautiful surreal paintings by Evandro Schiavone

Evandro Schiavone is a brazilian artist who makes wonderful surreal paintings. He started his studies when he was 12 and today he also gives classes. Schiavone's work are influenced a lot by Salvador Dalí's work, maybe the most recognized surrealism painter/artist, since he was given a Dalí's paintings book.

Schiavone's paintings present us lyric and dreamly colored worlds, where rules are subverted and the logic does not apply. Or, in other words, pure surrealism.

The photography of candies and plants organized by color by Emily Blincoe

Emily Blincoe is an american photographer who loves to work with colors and natural light in her photography series. Here I selected two series from the artist. These series were created by organizing groups of elements by color in well organized design, just as if they were set up by someone with OCD (Obsessive–compulsive disorder), what brings me fond memories of TV show Monk.

In Sugar series, Blincoe gathered several sweets and candies, shooting them in colored background. It's really amazing the variety of candies, lollipops, chocolates and other sugar-based junk food with so many colors and colored packages. In Garden series, the artist applied the same method, but with flowers, petals and leaves from a wide range of plants.
