Liiga Smilshkalne is an artist from Latvia, a small country in northern Europe. She produces beautiful illustrations with fantasy themes and also produces digital manipulations of photos (using Corel Painter, not Photoshop).

Liiga's illustrations exhibit beautiful scenarios and characters of fantasy. Among her artwork, I highlight her illustrations with women, which are a mix of sensuality and fantasy, whether it is a phantasmagoric entity, an elemental of nature or a flame enchantress.
