The cityscapes in oil paintings by Jeremy Mann

I already talked about the artist Jeremy Mann before, when I posted some of his beautiful oil paintings of women. Mann's talent is not just in portraying beautiful women, but also in making beautiful oil paintings of cityscapes, with scenarios from american cities as New York and San Francisco.

The artist has a style that remembers a mix between impressionism and watercolor paintings. The result are images that seem a little fuzzy, as if we were seeing the cities through a fog or rain. Mann's paintings are full of that urban loneliness, where an individual is alone even when he is surrounded by people, crushed by city's weight, oppressed by the gray of concrete and rainy weather.
